Assistant Media Planner

 

Summary:

This role is responsible for providing strategic planning support across all media channels. Candidate must have solid foundation of marketing and media. Experience with digital and traditional media planning is a plus. The person who holds this position is expected to have a passion for learning and creating new and innovative campaigns for clients.

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in the development of media campaign architecture, including media mix and strategy
  • Pull and analyze consumer insights, competitive brand investment and historical media mix to help inform strategic media recommendations
  • Support media campaign activation across all touch points with emphasis on digital channels
  • Work closely with the analytics team to review and analyze campaign performance, providing optimization recommendations to meet/exceed client goals
  • Maintain and manage media flowcharts/plans
  • Manage invoicing and trafficking creative materials
  • Cultivate relationships with media vendors and partners
  • Negotiate rates and liaising with media vendors on a regular basis
  • Work closely with analytics team to review and analyze campaign results

 

Ideal candidate will have:

 

  • Ad agency or media internship/experience
  • BS/BA degree
  • Experience with exposure to digital search tools/methodologies (Google Analytics, Facebook advertising interface, may have managed online ad campaigns)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on strong Excel/Power Point skills
  • Dependable, proactive, and detail oriented
  • Ability to balance multiple assignments and set priorities
  • A strong sense of taking the initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical skills
  • Knowledge of media math (CPM, CPC, etc)
  • Knowledge of Google ad serving a plus

Digital Media Communications Strategy Planner

 

Position Summary:

 

This role is responsible for providing strategic planning support across all media channels. Candidate must have solid foundation of knowledge and experience across all media channels, with an emphasis on digital media. Candidate must exhibit a proven ability to plan, execute, report and analyze digital campaigns across paid social, display, native and video. A firm understanding of both branding principles and ROI driving tactics will be critical for this position.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Organize, implement and manage the day-to-day media planning process
• Contribute to media strategy for clients planning on a local and national basis
• Utilize available media planning tools (MRI & Kantar), other industry research and clients’ historical media activity reports to develop media plans
• Aid in the development of campaign set-up, including testing methodologies, reporting requirements and campaign construction
• Maintain budgets, creative trafficking, and invoicing
• Strong client interaction on a day-to-day basis
• Participate in the development of presentations for both existing and new clients
• Update Communications Strategy supervisor on status of current accounts on an ongoing basis, identifying opportunities to optimize for maximum performance and elevating key issues or concerns as they arise
• Reviews all reporting dashboards for accuracy while identify key performance insights and is integral in presentations to clients on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain a positive rapport with media vendor partners, keeping up to date with the latest trends in the marketplace.

 

Requirements:

 

• Minimum of 1-2 year’s media planning experience (focus on digital)
• Experience in digital and social activation including familiarity with Google Ads/ Campaign 360 (trafficking and reporting) and Social UIs (Facebook/Twitter/Pinterest, etc)
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Dependable, proactive, detail oriented, excellent attendance
• Ability to balance multiple assignments and set priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Demonstrate excellent analytical skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills a must
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills are preferred

We are looking for an eCommerce media manager to join our team. This role is responsible for management of eCommerce media activation. Candidate must have solid foundation of knowledge and experience across all digital media channels with a focus on eCommerce. Candidate must exhibit a proven ability to plan, execute and analyze eCommerce campaigns across retail, marketplace and DTC environments, delivering ROI driving programs to exceed client business performance metrics.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and manage implementation of eCommerce strategies across related platforms, such as: Amazon Ads, Criteo, Quotient, Instacart, Walmart Connect, Google Shopping and social commerce
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to align targeting with performance driving messaging based on best practices and campaign objectives
  • Lead research to obtain industry benchmarks by platform and client vertical
  • Leverage research tools and agency resources to develop and implement strategic recommendations that exceed client goals
  • Manage campaign set-up, including testing methodologies, reporting requirements, campaign construction best-practice, performance forecasting, and optimization recommendations, ensuring maximum impact and efficiency of each campaign
  • Leverage data-driven insights to inform planning and optimization for future media and content/messaging strategies
  • Meet and/or exceed advertiser goals through channel-specific levers, including but not limited to: audience testing, creative testing, campaign adjustments, and placement testing
  • Contribute to thought leadership related to the subject of eCommerce media and marketplace
  • Establish strong working relationship with partner agencies (where/​when applicable), delivering a seamless communications process
  • Demonstrates agility via multi-tasking – multiple brands, strategic development and plan stewardship
  • Develops collaborative working relationship with all internal and external teams

Desired Skills & Experience

 

  • 4-6 years of professional experience within digital media (specifically inclusive of Paid Search) with 2+ years recent directly managing eCommerce media campaigns
  • Demonstrated success in elevating eCommerce campaign performance through innovation, testing, and technology
  • Deep understanding of consumer marketing, demand generation, content production, and marketing/sales funnels
  • Platform familiarity with Amazon Media (search and DSP), retail sites and media networks (Criteo, Quotient, Walmart, Citrus Ads, etc) marketplace management tools/software (Quartile, Skai, Perpetua, etc) and top DTC platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento
  • Experience pulling, mining, and analyzing performance data and summarizing/communicating out findings
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven success coordinating creative efforts, new test ideas, reporting, and optimizations
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and have the ability to forge strong bonds and work collaboratively with key external and internal teams
  • Execute consistently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and carry out self-directed responsibilities
  • Positive, energetic, competitively natured, and exudes a strong sense of teamwork by working effectively, respectfully, and efficiently with all team members
  • Highly skilled at analyzing and interpreting data
