Integrated Senior Communications Planner

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for providing strategic planning support across all media channels (offline and online). Candidate must have solid foundation of knowledge and experience with digital media and some previous exposure to offline media planning. Candidate must exhibit a proven ability to plan, execute and analyze digital campaigns across display, mobile, rich media and video. A firm understanding of both branding principles and ROI driving tactics will be critical for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the media plan execution, including issuing insertion orders, tracking spec development and implementation, custom unit production, and billing reconciliation
  • Daily management and optimization of digital media campaigns including planning and strategy development, contract execution, and reporting
  • Contribute as needed to planning offline media, including television, radio, OOH and print
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client business goals and marketing objectives and translate them into digital objectives/strategies
  • Work with Analytics team to monitor, analyze, and report on campaign results and make regular recommendations on how to optimize campaign performance
  • Regularly inform both internal team members and external clients about opportunities, challenges and marketplace/technology developments
  • Management of budgeting/forecasting, campaign optimization and reporting
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, and internal agency counterparts
  • Seek out creative and innovative first to market solutions to meet client objectives
  • Train, develop and mentor junior staff to success

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years media planning experience with 2+ years digital experience required
  • Must have experience with branding campaigns, including site direct negotiation, implementation and evaluation
  • Experience with direct response campaigns, including retargeting campaigns, network buys, programmatic buying and optimization preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills required
  • Ability to manage client communication and projects with little supervision from senior leadership
  • Must have strong knowledge of DCM (trafficking and reporting) and Google Analytics
  • Experience with social ad platforms preferred
