Communications Strategy Assistant Planner

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for providing strategic planning support across all media channels (offline and online). Candidate must have solid foundation of marketing and media. Experience with digital and traditional media planning is a plus. The person who holds this position is expected to have a passion for learning and creating new and innovative campaigns for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage media flowcharts/plans
  • Manage invoicing and trafficking creative materials
  • Cultivate relationships with media vendors and partners
  • Negotiate rates and liaising with media vendors on daily basis
  • Work closely with analytics team to review and analyze campaign results
  • Assist in developing, measuring, and implements media campaigns

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Ad agency or media internship/experience
  • Experience with exposure to digital search tools/methodologies (Google Analytics, Facebook advertising interface, may have managed online ad campaigns)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with very strong Excel skills
  • BS/BA degree
  • Dependable, proactive, and detail oriented
  • Ability to balance multiple assignments and set priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical skills
  • Knowledge of media math (CPM, CPC, etc) a plus
  • Knowledge of TNS, MRI, and other related media research tools a plus
  • Knowledge of DoubleClick Ad Serving a plus
